Product Vision
Tech in MENA is designed as a regional public utility. Our mission is to build the simplest, fastest, and most reliable way to discover technology events across the Middle East and North Africa.
We aggregate and curate events happening across Beirut, Cairo, Amman, Dubai, Riyadh, Tunis, Casablanca, and neighboring tech hubs.

Our Principles
- Utility over decoration. Everything exists to make discovering events frictionless.
- Minimalism. Clean typography, generous whitespace, restrained colors, and zero popups or dark patterns.
- Speed & Accessibility. Instant page loads on mobile connections with WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility.
- Inclusivity. Grassroots meetups, university student clubs, and civic tech collectives are highlighted right alongside large commercial summits.
- Transparency. Every listing links directly to the original organizer without intermediary ticketing or captive accounts.
- No unnecessary accounts. You will never need to create an account or provide credentials just to discover what is happening.
- Regional precision. Accurate IANA timezones (Asia/Beirut, Africa/Cairo, Asia/Amman, Asia/Dubai), currencies, and multi-language support (English, Arabic, French).
What We Do Not Build
We are deliberately focused on discovery. We do not build:
Standards-Compliant Calendar Feeds
We provide public iCalendar (RFC 5545) feeds so you can subscribe to your city or category directly from Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook.

Privacy & Open Source
We do not track precise user coordinates, sell data, or use commercial advertising scripts. Outbound registration clicks are tallied anonymously to measure ecosystem engagement and help community organizers understand reach.
